Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shimura Tenko (ranked 5960 p4p, 3879 weight class) and Georges MacDonald (ranked 441 p4p, 353 weight class). MacDonald is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Forty Six & 2. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacDonald scores with a jab to the head.
MacDonald takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tenko wants to clinch.
MacDonald waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Tenko. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Tenko to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Tenko is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
MacDonald slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Oh Tenko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

MacDonald postures up.
MacDonald sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tenko's guard.
MacDonald stalling.
Let's hope that MacDonald has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Tenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tenko tries to get to full guard but MacDonald has control of the leg.
Tenko is trying to stand up here but MacDonald is controlling him well.
MacDonald not doing much here.
Tenko seems to have got his legs back now.
Tenko wants to control but MacDonald is keeping busy.

Tenko is holding on to half guard well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tenko tries to kick MacDonald off but MacDonald keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tenko wants to get back to full guard.
MacDonald passes into side control, despite Tenko's attempt to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MacDonald trying to control the action but Tenko is working from the bottom.
MacDonald really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tenko is trying to get back to half guard.

MacDonald trying to control the action but Tenko is working from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
MacDonald connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tenko. Tenko circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
MacDonald scores with a jab to the jaw.
Tenko throws out a powerful jab.
Tenko wants to clinch.
MacDonald drops Tenko with a huge uppercut! Tenko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. MacDonald is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Georges MacDonald!
After the fight, Georges MacDonald was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
