Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oba Umar (ranked 3270 p4p, 4896 weight class) and Jimbo Gregor (ranked 410 p4p, 524 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oba Umar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimbo Gregor!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Umar.
Umar scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gregor doesn't seem bothered though.
Gregor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Umar throws a right hand that misses
and Gregor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Oba Umar has been cut.
The fighters circling - Gregor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gregor defending well as Umar loads up on a big left hand.
Umar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gregor misses with a straight right.
Umar was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Umar lands an overhand right.
Umar throws an off balance right hand
and Gregor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Umar throws a lazy uppercut
and Gregor counters with a crisp right that sends Umar to the canvas! Gregor follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimbo Gregor!
