Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zac Zane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Salaam!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zane looks to land a right hand but Salaam moved out of range.
A left lands for Salaam.
Salaam misses with an uppercut. Zane saw that one coming.
Zane uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Salaam.
Salaam lands with a hook. Zane tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Zac Zane has been cut.
Zane lands an overhand right.
Zane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Zane lands an overhand right.
It looks like Andre Salaam has been cut.
Zane misses with a lunging right hand
and Zane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Salaam cracks Zane with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Zane looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Salaam finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zane walks straight into a right hand from Salaam - that's dropped him! Salaam jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Zane from any more punishment! Zane complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andre Salaam!
