Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tam Yu Tai (ranked 2689 p4p, 3118 weight class) and Spider Monkey (ranked 343 p4p, 389 weight class). Yu Tai comes to the cage accompanied by Invincible Pole Fighter. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tam Yu Tai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Spider Monkey! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monkey swings widly with a right hand
and Yu Tai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Monkey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yu Tai feinted there with a counter leg kick. Monkey takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A chopping leg kick lands by Yu Tai. Monkey throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Yu Tai counters with a nice leg kick. Monkey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yu Tai scores with a body shot.
Yu Tai feints and then cracks Monkey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Monkey down. Yu Tai scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Monkey throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Yu Tai drops his hands momentarily and Monkey takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yu Tai throws a good cross that connects.
Nice defenses there by Yu Tai. Monkey cracks Yu Tai with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Good leg kick by Monkey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monkey just misses with a punch to the body.
Monkey tries a head kick but it misses.
Monkey doesn't manage to clinch there - Yu Tai circles away.
Monkey misses with a leg kick and Yu Tai counters with an outside leg kick.
Spider Monkey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yu Tai lands the left hand. Monkey swings for the body but Yu Tai moves out of range.
Yu Tai is looking to counter punch. Yu Tai looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Monkey thows a leg kick but Yu Tai checks it and Yu Tai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Yu Tai has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Monkey finds it's way round the side to connect with Yu Tai's head. Yu Tai on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Monkey throws a shot from downtown. Yu Tai moves away and avoids it. Yu Tai lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Nice straight punches there by Monkey. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Monkey.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jab from Monkey. Yu Tai misses with a jab, cross combination.
Monkey delivers a nice body kick. Monkey missing with a left hand there. Yu Tai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Monkey lands with an overhand left. Yu Tai throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Monkey closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Monkey on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Monkey is rocked! Monkey tries to get into range but Yu Tai steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Monkey! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Yu Tai scores the big KO victory!
