Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Francisco Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonzela Franco shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alvarez defends it nicely.
Bonzela Franco looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Alvarez gets caught napping as Bonzela Franco dives in and scores a takedown. Alvarez manages to retain guard.
Bonzela Franco seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bonzela Franco's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Alvarez being controlled here, momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonzela Franco thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bonzela Franco controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alvarez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bonzela Franco is controlling him.
Bonzela Franco wants to pass the guard but Alvarez is keeping the position.
Bonzela Franco slips nicely into half guard.
Bonzela Franco passes the guard and advances to mount!
Bonzela Franco working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Alvarez turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bonzela Franco off and cradles Alvarez's limp body as Bonzela Franco celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Pedro Bonzela Franco!
