PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tarrell Newsome (ranked 2727 p4p, 3146 weight class) and Tagnarach Kamara (ranked 317 p4p, 348 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newsome misses the body punch
and Kamara counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Newsome looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Newsome has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kamara finds it's way round the side to connect with Newsome's head.
Newsome fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kamara on the side of the head.
Newsome misses with a wild body shot.
Newsome throws a lazy right hand but Kamara sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kamara ducks under a wild hook from Newsome.
As Newsome backs off Kamara throws a huge counter combo but Newsome manages to avoid it all.

Newsome connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kamara. Kamara circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Newsome bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kamara's head backwards.
Kamara scores with a nice strike.
Kamara ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Newsome tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kamara manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
