Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hin Areni (ranked 537 p4p, 1104 weight class) and Tree Fortay (ranked 50 p4p, 102 weight class). Areni's entrance music is Mosaique. A fine choice. Fortay has chosen The Choice Is Yours as his entrance music. Tree Fortay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hin Areni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Tree Fortay!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Areni throws a body punch but Fortay moves out of range.
Fortay gets caught flat footed, as Areni shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Areni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fortay swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Areni has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Fortay can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Areni controls the pace.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

After the fight, Hin Areni was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
