Averescu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmstrom lands a lovely overhand right.
Holmstrom slips a jab from Averescu.
Holmstrom scores with a jab to the jaw.
A nice combination there by Averescu.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Averescu enables Holmstrom to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Averescu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Averescu is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Holmstrom presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Averescu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Averescu drops Holmstrom with a naaaaasty hook - Holmstrom is in real trouble here! Averescu dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
