Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juanito Escobar (ranked 78 p4p, 174 weight class) and Principo Adam (ranked 10 p4p, 26 weight class). Adam comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dona Eis Requiem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juanito Escobar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Principo Adam!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Adam.
Adam misses with a looping right.
Escobar was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Adam slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Adam scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Escobar doesn't seem bothered though.
Adam misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Escobar.
Adam tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Escobar was well out of range. Poor timing from Adam.
Adam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Escobar avoids the body shot from Adam.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adam misses with an uppercut. Escobar saw that one coming.
Escobar connects with a leg kick.
Adam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And Escobar counters with a quick kick to the body but Adam blocks it.

Escobar jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Adam looks to score with a jab to the body but Escobar is just out of range.
Adam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Escobar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adam somewhat.

Adam ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Escobar moves away.
Escobar is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Adam is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Escobar rather than just go for the knockout.
Escobar lands with a kick to the ribs.
Adam throws a shot from downtown. Escobar moves away and avoids it.
Escobar uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Adam has time to react.

Adam fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Escobar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Adam connects with a right hand. Escobar shakes it off.
Escobar lands a nice looking body shot.
Adam misses with an uppercut
and Escobar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Escobar lands a nice shot that snaps Adam's head back.

Adam shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Escobar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Escobar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Escobar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Adam trying to control the position from guard on top but Escobar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Escobar holds on and takes a little breather.
Adam content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Escobar has locked up a guillotine! Escobar's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Adam is holding on here and Escobar must be using up a lot of energy. Adam has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Escobar gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
