The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkey just misses with a punch to the body.
Duggan tries a head kick but it misses.
Duggan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Monkey manages to avoid it.
Jim Duggan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monkey drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Duggan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
