Boonliang comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to the bone. Howlett is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Indestructible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rak Boonliang! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Howlett! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Howlett is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Howlett has his takedown stuffed and Boonliang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Howlett doesn't succeed with the takedown and Boonliang counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Howlett has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rak Boonliang! Rak Boonliang retains his lightweight title! Our winner, Rak Boonliang, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
