Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Hansen (ranked 2683 p4p, 2740 weight class) and Chie Satonaka (ranked 330 p4p, 335 weight class). Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - Iron Man. Satonaka has chosen Rayden as his entrance music. Marcus Hansen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chie Satonaka!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen keeps the fight on the outside.
A little feinted left hand from Hansen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hansen scores with a nice right hand.
A jab from Hansen finds it's way through Satonaka's defenses.
Hansen shoots in looking for a takedown but Satonaka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hansen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice defenses there by Satonaka.
Satonaka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hansen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Satonaka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chie Satonaka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Satonaka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
