PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Georges Moxley (ranked 158 p4p, 336 weight class) and Tomoe Gozen (ranked 30 p4p, 52 weight class). Moxley comes to the cage accompanied by Andre Nickatina - Color of the Benz. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Moxley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gozen stacks Moxley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gozen!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Moxley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Moxley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Tomoe Gozen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
