Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Metbal Skabetti (ranked 2579 p4p, 2915 weight class) and Thorulf Hammar (ranked 331 p4p, 377 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Metbal Skabetti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thorulf Hammar!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammar scores with a punch to the head.
Hammar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Skabetti's hands.
Skabetti throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Thorulf Hammar has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Hammar thows a body kick. Skabetti tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Hammar throws a head kick that misses
enabling Skabetti to counter with a crisp jab.
Hammar tries to bum rush Skabetti with a series of wild strikes but Skabetti uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Skabetti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Skabetti throws a sloppy head kick and Hammar moves out of range easily.
Hammar needs to keep his hands up - Skabetti had a free shot at his head there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammar pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hammar takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Skabetti lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Skabetti moves out of range as Hammar strikes.
Hammar misses with a kick to the body.
Skabetti takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Skabetti throws a front kick that sends Hammar stumbling back into the cage.
We've been told by Skabetti's head coaches at in shig we trust that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Skabetti sends Hammar crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Skabetti is motioning to the referee to let Hammar up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Hammar is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Skabetti throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Hammar crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Metbal Skabetti!
