Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Woodie Maykit (ranked 2373 p4p, 3002 weight class) and Santino Cabal (ranked 305 p4p, 383 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Santino Cabal was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabal is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Woodie Maykit has been cut.
Cabal works Maykit's body with a nice hook.
Cabal misses with an uppercut.
Maykit takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nice defenses there by Maykit.

Maykit throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cabal was covering up waiting for the punch and Maykit finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cabal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Maykit slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Maykit tries to free his leg and advance position but Cabal is retaining full guard.
Maykit pushing down on Cabal's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Maykit is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maykit works his foot free and advances to mount.

Maykit definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Cabal is trying to defend against the choke here but Maykit has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Maykit Tightens the hold and Cabal taps out furiously! Maykit displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
