Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Taylor Jack (ranked 506 p4p, 920 weight class) and Ryoto Takahashi (ranked 61 p4p, 106 weight class). Jack comes to the cage accompanied by Lucid Dreams. Takahashi has chosen TWIST THAT D*CK as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jack there as he acknowledges the shot.

Jack has been working on his boxing with his coaches at CT in the buildup to the fight.
Jack on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Takahashi. Takahashi obviously looking to wear him down.

Jack lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Takahashi, as that shot connected.

Takahashi drops Jack with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jack looks back up at him and smiles so Takahashi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Takahashi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jack swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

As Takahashi tries to get set, Jack tries to push him back and clinch up but Takahashi manages to avoid the attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Jack might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Takahashi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jack has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jack and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Taylor Jack will probably get the nod.
