Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pablo Noriega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noriega lands a head kick. Morrison smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pablo Noriega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morrison tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Morrison lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Noriega lands a jab to Morrison's midsection.

Noriega takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Morrison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Morrison throws a lazy right hand but Noriega sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And Noriega counters with a quick kick to the body but Morrison blocks it.

and Morrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morrison takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Noriega scores with a head kick. Morrison tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Noriega tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Morrison was well out of range. Poor timing from Noriega.
Noriega slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Noriega connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Noriega throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Noriega looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Morrison shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Noriega appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Noriega goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Noriega really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Despite the aggression on Morrison's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Noriega avoids the body shot from Morrison.
Noriega throws a lazy uppercut
and Morrison counters with a nice uppercut.

Noriega tries to work over Morrison's front leg with a kick but Morrison checks it.
Noriega throws a body punch but Morrison moves out of range.
Morrison flicks out a counter leg kick but Noriega steps away.
A nice leg kick from Noriega, right into the meat of the thigh.
Morrison just misses with a punch to the body.
Morrison takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

A big right from Noriega misses.
Noriega's jab looks to have found its range, popping Morrison under the eye.
Morrison misses with a series of wild punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Noriega lands a nice leg kick that just misses Morrison's sensitive parts.
Noriega has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Noriega there as he acknowledges the shot.

Morrison's jab looks to have found its range, popping Noriega under the eye.
Noriega throws out a loose jab but Morrison uses good head movement to avoid it.
It seemed like Morrison was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Morrison jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Noriega blocks a jab.
Morrison throws a leg kick
and Noriega connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Noriega cracks Morrison with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Noriega walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Morrison swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

During a confident post fight interview, Richard Morrison thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
