Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Choke (ranked 148 p4p, 217 weight class) and Vincent Lomax (ranked 25 p4p, 34 weight class). Vincent Lomax will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Vincent Lomax! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Watson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choke fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Choke takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lomax wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Lomax connects with a body shot. Lomax misses with a shot to the body and Choke holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choke is working for takedown but Lomax is calmly controlling the position for now. Choke looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Choke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Lomax obliges. Choke is breathing heavily. A knee to the head by Lomax.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lomax creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. We've been hearing reports that Choke has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Choke jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lomax walks away with a smile on his face. Choke gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lomax throws a monster overhand right that drops Choke! Lomax follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vincent Lomax! Vincent Lomax opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
