Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Campbell (ranked 3191 p4p, 3451 weight class) and Gerwazy Babula (ranked 424 p4p, 450 weight class). Babula comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hey Buddy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Don Campbell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gerwazy Babula!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babula throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've been told by Campbell's head coaches at Julians Sports Bar & Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Campbell gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Babula avoiding damage as Campbell throws knees to the body.
Babula blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Babula blocks a punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Campbell.
Babula jumps guard.
Babula keeping full guard, as Campbell tries to pass.
Campbell not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Babula working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Campbell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Campbell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Campbell wants to control from the top but Babula keeps moving.

Babula is continuing to stall.
Babula had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Campbell defends it easily.

Babula is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Babula can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Campbell controls the pace.
Babula pushes a forearm under Campbell's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Campbell is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
