Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Principo Adam (ranked 281 p4p, 382 weight class) and Quintus Dias (ranked 42 p4p, 64 weight class). Adam comes to the cage accompanied by Dona Eis Requiem. Dias comes into a darkened arena with his song building. No More Hot Dogs kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Principo Adam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quintus Dias! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adam rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dias cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dias clobbers Adam with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Adam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Adam ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dias ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adam moves away. Adam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dias as he avoids it easily. Adam shoots for a takedown but Dias saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. It seemed like Dias was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dias dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Adam bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Adam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dias as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Principo Adam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dias gets a clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dias has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Adam lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dias. Adam struggles to land a body shot inside as Dias controls his hands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dias throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dias scores with an uppercut up the middle. Dias takes a shot to the head. Dias lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Adam tries to score a body lock takedown but Dias shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Dias's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Dias has a couple of punches blocked by Adam.

Dias creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dias lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Dias lands an elbow just above Adam 's eye. Adam lands a left hand.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Dias just misses with a elbow thrown towards Adam's brow. Dias lands an elbow inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dias. Adam lands a shoulder strike. A short right from Adam. Dias pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Adam pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Good exchange - Adam coming out on top. Adam swings widly with a right hand
and Dias counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Adam thinking. Adam has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Adam there as he acknowledges the shot. Quintus Dias is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dias tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Adam tries for a takedown. No joy.

With the fighters up against the cage, Dias throws an elbow but misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dias pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adam gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dias regains guard.
Dias looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Adam advances to half guard. Adam slows the pace down in half guard. Dias is trying to control but can't.
Adam thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Adam is looking for a kimura here.
Dias pushes Adam off and gets back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Quintus Dias dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Dias swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dias misses with a wild body shot. Quintus Dias is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Adam fails to land the takedown. Adam throws out a loose jab but Dias uses good head movement to avoid it. Despite the aggression on Dias's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Adam changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Dias stuns Adam with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A big right from Dias misses. Dias throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Quintus Dias seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Decent striking displayed by Adam there. Dias moves out of range of the strikes. Adam lands with a hook. Dias tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A swing and a miss from Adam.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dias moves out of range as Adam strikes. Adam scores with a shot to the body.
Dias moves away from the strike by Adam. Adam cracks Dias with an open hand slap. Adam throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Adam throws a jab but it's blocked by Dias. Dias misses with a body shot.
Dias bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dias scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Adam doesn't seem bothered though. Adam bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dias's head. Adam connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A telegraphed right hand from Adam misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dias ducks right into an uppercut from Adam. Adam scores with a nice strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dias throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Adam counters with a nice double leg into guard. Adam postures up and lands a big shot to Dias's brow. Dias wants to sweep here but Adam controlling him for the moment. Dias is trying to control the position but Adam postures up. Dias keeping moving, preventing Adam from controlling successfully. Dias working a defensive guard but Adam manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dias tries to improve position but can't. Dias prevents Adam from moving into mount. Adam is looking to take a break and control but Dias is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee asks Adam politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Adam prefers to stall for the moment though. Adam has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Dias manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adam wants to pass the guard but Dias is defending well. Adam stops Dias from getting back to his feet.
Dias has one foot on Adam's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dias looks to score with a jab to the body but Adam is just out of range. Dias stalks Adam and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Adam's face. Adam staggers backwards, shaken. Adam lands a jab. Dias is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dias avoids the body shot from Adam.
Dias misses with a low kick. Adam is looking to counter punch. Adam keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Donk. Adam catches Dias right on the button with a cross. It looks like Adam has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Adam connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dias. Dias circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dias lands with a good body shot. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Principo Adam dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Dias throws a leg kick that is checked and Adam counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Adam throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Dias is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Adam rather than just go for the knockout. Adam swats away the attempt to clinch by Dias. Adam throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Adam lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Dias misses the jab. Adam swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adam lands a jab-cross combination. Adam throws a big shot that misses. A little jabbing left from Dias on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Adam shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Adam showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dias is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adam looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Principo Adam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Adam content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Adam winds up and cracks Dias with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dias is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Adam pulls his head out easily. Adam trying to control the action but Dias is working from the bottom. Adam is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Quintus Dias has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dias looks like he's trying to stand up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Adam connects with a nice short shot to Dias's temple. Adam throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Adam looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Dias is trying to maintain the position but Adam is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adam prevents Dias from standing back up.
Adam seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Adam frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Adam lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Adam lands a big elbow. Principo Adam is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Dias is rocked! Dias squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Dias is still in real trouble! Can Adam finish him? Adam tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dias seems to have recovered his senses. Dias somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adam with a hook. Dias tries to clinch but Adam is having none of it. Adam throws a body shot but no joy. Adam throws a big shot that misses. A left lands for Adam. This has been an exciting period of action! Adam connects with a body shot that sends Dias's belly button to the back. Adam dives in and grabs Dias's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dias pushes down on Adam's head and hops out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dias throws a leg kick but Adam sees it coming and checks it nicely. Adam feinted with a counter takedown. Adam connects with a nice looking jab.
Adam punishes Dias's body with a nice straight punch.
And that's the end of the fight! Principo Adam showed his dominance in that final round. I think Adam has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Principo Adam wins by unanimous decision! Principo Adam spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
