Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duannis Frank (ranked 1738 p4p, 440 weight class) and Hunt Mfer (ranked 238 p4p, 59 weight class). Hunt Mfer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duannis Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunt Mfer! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mfer's corner calls for a 1-2. Mfer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Frank misses the target. A jab from Frank misses. Mfer tries to land a leg kick but Frank saw it coming and moves away.
Frank scores with a jab to the head.
Mfer keeps the fight on the outside. Good leg kick by Mfer. Mfer fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Mfer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Frank definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mfer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Frank swats him away and circles back towards the center. Frank tests Mfer's chin there with a solid looking shot. Frank lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Frank has taken the fight to the clinch.
Frank misses with a punch on the inside.
Mfer struggles to land a body shot inside as Frank controls his hands.
Mfer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Frank gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Frank blocks an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mfer scores with a hook to the body. Frank blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mfer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A right hook to the body lands for Frank.
Mfer manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Mfer has his foot on Frank's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Frank works his way back into a safe position though. Mfer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frank's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mfer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frank swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mfer trying to control but Frank is working from the bottom. Mfer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Frank is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mfer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Frank is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Frank has escaped and now he's on top!
Frank is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mfer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Frank is looking to defend but Mfer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Frank! Mfer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Frank taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hunt Mfer!
