Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boytsov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaarlo Susi!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boytsov fails with the takedown
and Susi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Boytsov missing with a left hand there. Susi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boytsov loads up on a big right hand but Susi slips the punch.
Susi throws out a counter right but Boytsov avoids it with no problem.
A looping hook to the body misses from Susi. Boytsov does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boytsov ducks under a wild hook from Susi.

Boytsov throws a poor cross that misses
and Susi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Boytsov thinking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boytsov tests Susi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boytsov slips a straight right by Susi.
Susi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boytsov.

Boytsov misses with a lunging right hand
and Boytsov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Susi lunges at Boytsov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boytsov's hand.
Susi stuffs the takedown attempt from Boytsov. Boytsov gets slowly back to his feet.
Boytsov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boytsov throws a right hand that misses
and Susi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Dmitry Boytsov has been cut.
Boytsov throws a lazy uppercut
and Susi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boytsov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Susi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Boytsov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Susi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Boytsov! Susi lets Boytsov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Boytsov is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dmitry Boytsov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A telegraphed right hand from Boytsov misses the target.
Boytsov misses with a lunging right hand
and Susi counters with a nice right hand that sends Boytsov toppling to the canvas! Boytsov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Susi finish him?!
Oh Boytsov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Susi misses the shot to the body.
Boytsov is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Susi fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Boytsov square on the jaw! Damn, Boytsov is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
