Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mad Hatter (ranked 1191 p4p, 1560 weight class) and Michal Sykora (ranked 60 p4p, 83 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Hatter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michal Sykora!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatter misses with a hook.
Sykora replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Hatter blocks it well.
Sykora throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hatter.
It looks like Mad Hatter has been cut.
Sykora throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sykora misses with a series of wild punches.
A head kick misses from Sykora.
Sykora wants to clinch up but Hatter keeps it at a distance.
Hatter throws a hook to the side of Sykora's head but Sykora sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sykora misses with a head kick.
Sykora throws a right hand that Hatter ducks under and follows up with a left that Hatter also avoids with ease.
Hatter takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sykora tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
An attempted straight right counter from Hatter misses the target.
Sykora connects with a high kick.
Hatter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sykora moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Sykora wants to land a leg kick but Hatter is out of range.
Sykora goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sykora throws a head kick that misses.
A little feinted left hand from Hatter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sykora tries to bum rush Hatter with a series of wild strikes but Hatter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A big right from Sykora misses.
Sykora plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Hatter is rocked!
Hatter avoids the head kick by Sykora.
Hatter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sykora can pounce on him.
Sykora tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
As Sykora backs away, Hatter returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Hatter throws a big shot that misses.
Hatter missing with a left hand there. Sykora was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sykora looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've been told by Hatter's head coaches at Yellow Lotus Center of Healing and Meditative Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hatter feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sykora sprawling to the canvas! Sykora rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hatter finish him?!
It looks like Michal Sykora has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sykora tries to clinch but Hatter moves out of range.
Hatter appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
No joy there for Sykora, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hatter is looking to counter punch.
Hatter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sykora.
Oh Hatter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hatter just misses with a punch to the body.
Sykora throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Hatter crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Michal Sykora!
