Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pate Hunt (ranked 1981 p4p, 3421 weight class) and Paul Kings (ranked 104 p4p, 178 weight class). Pate Hunt has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Pate Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Kings!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kings.

Hunt feints and then cracks Kings's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kings down.

Kings swings for the body but Hunt moves out of range.

Kings is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hunt had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

and Hunt counters with a head kick that drops Kings to the mat! Kings scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Hunt might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Well Kings has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
