Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Sheppard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michail Argyros!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheppard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Curtis Sheppard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sheppard misses with a wild body shot.
Sheppard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sheppard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Argyros. That did some damage!
A clash of legs there as Argyros blocks the low kick.
Argyros feints a jab promting Sheppard to slip. Argyros then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sheppard slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Curtis Sheppard has been cut.
A left lands for Sheppard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Argyros sends Sheppard crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Argyros is motioning to the referee to let Sheppard up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Sheppard is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Argyros moves out of range of the leg kick from Sheppard.
Oh Sheppard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Argyros on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sheppard. Sheppard obviously looking to wear him down.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Argyros has cracked Sheppard with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Argyros lands another huge swinging hook and Sheppard tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Sheppard, before Argyros can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Michail Argyros!
An out of breath Michail Argyros thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
