Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 5814 p4p, 21874 weight class) and Dru Quick (ranked 179 p4p, 210 weight class). Dimitrov comes to the ring accompanied by Drake - Energy. Quick has chosen Gangster's Paradise- Coolio as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dru Quick!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimitrov thows a leg kick but Quick checks it
and Quick counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Daniel Dimitrov has been cut.
Dimitrov slips a straight right by Quick.
Dimitrov swinging wildly here.
Quick tries a quick counter leg kick but Dimitrov is wise to it.
Dimitrov closes the distance but Quick moves to the side
and Quick counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dimitrov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Quick has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Quick and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dimitrov lands a head shot.
Quick throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Quick throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dimitrov on the side of the head.

Dimitrov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Quick blocks the elbow strike.
Dimitrov tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Quick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Quick turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dimitrov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Quick takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fighters circling - Dimitrov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Quick looks like he wants to counter punch here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dimitrov throws a poor cross that misses
and Quick cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Quick scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dimitrov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Quick counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Daniel Dimitrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dimitrov is breathing heavily.

Quick scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Dimitrov to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Quick away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Dimitrov got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Quick ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Dimitrov out cold! The fight is over!

A very excited looking Dru Quick made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
