Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexandros Stamatis (ranked 1216 p4p, 1184 weight class) and Kevin McGuire (ranked 179 p4p, 171 weight class). Stamatis comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton - Sparta. McGuire comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

McGuire lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stamatis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuire.

McGuire tries to close the distance and clinch but Stamatis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stamatis. McGuire does a little dance to reset his feet.
McGuire takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McGuire throws a leg kick but Stamatis sees it coming and checks it nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stamatis cracks McGuire with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McGuire looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Stamatis finish him?
McGuire is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGuire loses concentration momentarily and Stamatis pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! McGuire crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Stamatis finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Alexandros Stamatis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
