Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Wayz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Karter!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wayz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee asks Wayz politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wayz prefers to stall for the moment though.
Wayz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Karter for as long as he can get away with.

Wayz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Karter lands a hook that snaps the head of Wayz backwards.

Wayz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Karter after a bit of a struggle.

Wayz is trying to drag Karter to the mat but Karter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wayz is looking to control Karter's arms but Karter gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wayz has his back to the cage.

Karter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Karter is pressed up against the cage. Wayz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Karter down to the mat. Karter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Wayz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut lands for Karter. That snapped Wayz's head back.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Karter lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Wayz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Karter's guard.
Wayz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Wayz shoots in for a double leg but Karter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Wayz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wayz is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Karter can't fight it off and eventually Wayz manages to take the fight to the floor. Karter looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
