Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aatreya Mahrishi (ranked 514 p4p, 568 weight class) and Aaron Wolf (ranked 73 p4p, 80 weight class). Mahrishi comes into the arena with On the Precipe of Defeat blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahrishi lands a head kick. Wolf smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Aaron Wolf has been cut.
Mahrishi throws the left hand but Wolf avoids the punch easily.
Mahrishi scores with a head kick. Wolf tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Mahrishi throws a sloppy head kick
and Mahrishi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mahrishi throws a head kick that misses.
Wolf lands a head shot.

It looks like Aatreya Mahrishi has been cut.
Mahrishi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Wolf counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wolf throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mahrishi counters with a straight right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick misses from Mahrishi.
Wolf let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Wolf throws a front kick that sends Mahrishi stumbling back into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wolf lands a big head kick that sends Mahrishi tumbling to the mat! Wolf takes a step backwards and waves Mahrishi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mahrishi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mahrishi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wolf - the referee stops the clock and Mahrishi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wolf. Mahrishi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mahrishi is breathing heavily.
Wolf scores with a jab to the jaw.
Mahrishi fails in his attempt to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Wolf counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Wolf lands a big uppercut and Mahrishi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mahrishi looks OK. Wolf waves Mahrishi back to his feet!
Wolf is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Mahrishi jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

That has opened up Aaron Wolf's cut even more.

Wolf misses with a low kick.
Wolf throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mahrishi throws a head kick that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Wolf throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Mahrishi avoids the body shot from Wolf.
Mahrishi slips a jab from Wolf.
Mahrishi throwing a counter right hand but Wolf manages to avoid it.
Mahrishi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wolf doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wolf shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A head kick by Mahrishi misses
letting Wolf counter with a right hand.

Aatreya Mahrishi's cut is getting worse.
Wolf throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Mahrishi counters with an inside leg kick.
Wolf drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Mahrishi right on the button. Mahrishi goes down! Wolf follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Wolf gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Wolf!
A relieved looking Aaron Wolf thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
