Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Helpmann!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fungas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Helpmann scores with a jab. Fungas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Toe Fungas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fungas misses with a few strikes there.
Helpmann looks to score with a jab to the body but Fungas is just out of range.
Fungas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fungas tries to bum rush Helpmann with a series of wild strikes but Helpmann uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fungas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It seemed like Helpmann was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Helpmann connects with a looping right hand.
Fungas misses with the combination.
Fungas's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fungas duly obliges.
Helpmann misses with a hook. Fungas ducked under it nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fungas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Helpmann moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Helpmann dodges the punch combination from Fungas.
Helpmann looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Helpmann lands with a cross.
Helpmann swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Helpmann misses with a double jab.
Fungas slips a jab from Helpmann.
Fungas throws a leg kick that is checked
and Helpmann counters with a stiff right hand.
Fungas is rocked!
Helpmann comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Oh Fungas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fungas is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Helpmann doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Fungas crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Fungas's bad books for that mishap!

After winning the bout, Robert Helpmann thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
