Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between New Breed One (ranked 692 p4p, 706 weight class) and Mickey Dismantle (ranked 58 p4p, 60 weight class). Dismantle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Come As You Are. Mickey Dismantle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, New Breed One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Mickey Dismantle! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One looking to score a takedown here. Dismantle is defending well but One drives through and ends up in Dismantle's guard. One looking to pass the guard. One landing some decent shots from guard. Dismantle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. One wants to control from the top but Dismantle keeps moving. One wants to pass the guard but Dismantle is keeping the position. One wants to control from the top but Dismantle keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. One throwing strikes from guard but Dismantle blocks nicely. One has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. One throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dismantle works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. One wants to control from the top but Dismantle keeps moving. One wants to pass the guard but Dismantle is keeping the position. One working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. One throwing strikes but missing. One trying to control the position from guard on top but Dismantle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. One advances position into side control! One trying to control the position but Dismantle is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. One working the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. One lands some shots froms side control. You can see the frustration on Dismantle's face as One controls the position. One wants to control but Dismantle is keeping him busy. One is staying tight to Dismantle's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dismantle is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dismantle is not content to let One control the position. One working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. One tries for a kimura but Dismantle is defending well. You can see the frustration on Dismantle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dismantle tries to get back to half guard but can't. One wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dismantle, who protects the arm well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! One working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
New Breed One dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! One has a takedown stuffed. A big left from Dismantle misses. One is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dismantle can do to turn this around? Horrible takedown attempt by One or perhaps it was just good defense by Dismantle, which made it look bad. Nice sprawl there from Dismantle as One shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for New Breed One. That's going to take a lot out of him. One looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. One is looking to clinch but Dismantle is avoiding it.
One tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dismantle swivels and escapes. Dismantle tries a quick counter leg kick but One is wise to it. One tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dismantle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dismantle was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. One shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dismantle defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dismantle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. One shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dismantle sprawls well. Dismantle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. One gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Dismantle misses. One ducks under a wild hook from Dismantle. One shoots in looking for a takedown but Dismantle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing One's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dismantle attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. One tries for a takedown but Dismantle sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dismantle throws a hook but One blocks it. Dismantle circles away from the clinch attempt.
One slips a straight right by Dismantle. As Dismantle tries to get set, One tries to push him back and clinch up but Dismantle manages to avoid the attempt. Horrible takedown attempt by One or perhaps it was just good defense by Dismantle, which made it look bad. One tries for a takedown but Dismantle sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dismantle lands a jab to One's midsection. Dismantle ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dismantle lands with a nice body punch. One fails with an attempt to clinch.
One tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. One fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Decent striking displayed by Dismantle there. Dismantle connects with a looping right hand.
One shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dismantle napping and manages to drive through into side control! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! One working the head with strikes. Dismantle managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by One.
One tries to score with some ground and pound. Dismantle controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. One controls the position. One tries for a kimura but Dismantle is defending well. Dismantle tries to escape but One is in control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One working the ground and pound. One in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Dismantle is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). New Breed One! Our winner, New Breed One, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
