Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Armando (ranked 2591 p4p, 2031 weight class) and Jerome Tucker (ranked 302 p4p, 249 weight class). Tucker has chosen Ave Maria as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been told by Armando's head coaches at 3Band MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Tucker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tucker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tucker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Armando is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tucker can do to turn this around?

Tucker is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Armando is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Armando has escaped and now he's on top!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tucker wants to sweep but no luck.

Armando has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tucker to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Armando is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tucker pulls down on the head and he's put Armando to sleep! This one is all over!

A less than humble Jerome Tucker misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
