Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kob Khun Hongtong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Pugsley!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pugsley drives through with a takedown into Hongtong's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hongtong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pugsley manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pugsley is looking to control Hongtong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pugsley avoid being mounted?

Pugsley is trying to maintain the position but Hongtong is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Hongtong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pugsley manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Pugsley.
Pugsley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pugsley there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Arthur Pugsley has been cut.
Pugsley slips under a jab from Hongtong.
Hongtong connects with a body shot that sends Pugsley's belly button to the back.
Pugsley takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hongtong. Pugsley does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pugsley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Pugsley pushes Hongtong up against the cage in a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pugsley is trying to pull guard but Hongtong turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Hongtong lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A short left from Hongtong.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hongtong tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hongtong lands a body shot in the clinch.
Pugsley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hongtong walks away with a smile on his face. Pugsley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pugsley darts in trying to clinch
and Hongtong makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hongtong just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hongtong keeps the fight on the outside.

Pugsley drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hongtong defends it well.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kob Khun Hongtong dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Arthur Pugsley's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Hongtong catches Pugsley with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Pugsley tries to clinch but Hongtong moves out of range.

Pugsley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hongtong.
Hongtong is pressed up against the cage. Pugsley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hongtong down to the mat. Hongtong avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hongtong throws a jab but it's blocked by Pugsley.
Pugsley shoots in for a double leg but Hongtong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pugsley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pugsley takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hongtong connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hongtong missing with a left hand there. Pugsley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pugsley moves away from the strike by Hongtong.
Hongtong is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Hongtong lunges at Pugsley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pugsley's hand.

Pugsley is rocked!
Pugsley gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Hongtong gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kob Khun Hongtong!
Kob Khun Hongtong seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
