And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brenton Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanders has Bear up against the cage in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Sanders.
Bear changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sanders fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bear staying out of range there.
Bear moves to clinch but Sanders breaks away
letting Sanders counter with a right hand.
Bear definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Sanders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sanders fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bear, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Sanders obliges.
Sanders lands with a right to the head.
Sanders utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Sanders's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sanders.
The crowd are getting on Sanders's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Bear wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanders manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bear is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sanders gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Middle Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Come on Sanders - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Bear takes a knee to the side of the body.

It looks like Middle Bear has been cut.
Bear has Sanders pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sanders manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Sanders pushes Bear back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Bear is looking to take this one to the mat.
Bear goes for a takedown attempt but Sanders pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bear doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Sanders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanders scores with a nice right hand.
Sanders throws a good cross that connects.
Bear showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sanders.
Sanders misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Bear to counter with a crisp jab.
Sanders lands a really nice looking cross but Bear seems unphased.
Sanders lands with a nice body punch.

Sanders throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bear wants to clinch.
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanders swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bear moves in looking to clinch but Sanders pushes him off.
A good leg kick by Bear.

Sanders landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Bear drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sanders pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Sanders counters by moving into the clinch.

Bear changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sanders fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sanders drives through and clinches with Bear against the cage.
Sanders stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Sanders utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Sanders is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bear goes for a takedown attempt but Sanders pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanders punishes Bear's body with a nice straight punch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Brenton Sanders dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Middle Bear's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bear dodges the punch combination from Sanders.
Bear is looking for a counter combo.
Sanders throws a big shot that misses.
Bear takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Sanders pushes Bear up against the cage in a clinch.
Sanders controlling the action here for a moment.
Bear has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sanders after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanders is struggling to control the position.
Bear is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sanders gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Brenton Sanders seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Bear is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Bear is rocked!
Sanders creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Bear with a big uppercut! Bear tries to clinch up but Sanders pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Bear to the mat! Bear covers up and Sanders unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Brenton Sanders!
In his post fight interview, Brenton Sanders started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
