Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moncontour Chevrolet (ranked 1130 p4p, 1367 weight class) and Sauvage Thibodeaux (ranked 170 p4p, 205 weight class). Chevrolet comes to the cage accompanied by Loathsome (Pig Destroyer). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sauvage Thibodeaux was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Moncontour Chevrolet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sauvage Thibodeaux!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux tries to clinch but Chevrolet moves out of range.
Chevrolet is looking to counter with a body kick.
Thibodeaux shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chevrolet defends it nicely.
Chevrolet circles away from the clinch attempt
and Chevrolet makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Thibodeaux tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chevrolet swivels and escapes.
Chevrolet was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Thibodeaux doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chevrolet counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Moncontour Chevrolet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sauvage Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chevrolet's waist but Chevrolet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thibodeaux off to one side.
Chevrolet looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A left lands for Chevrolet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thibodeaux takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Chevrolet swings wildly with an uppercut but Thibodeaux uses good head movement to avoid it.

Thibodeaux closes the distance and clinches up with Chevrolet, looking for a takedown. Thibodeaux pushes Chevrolet against the cage but Chevrolet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chevrolet is not content to let Thibodeaux control the position.

Thibodeaux is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chevrolet is just riding it out for now. Thibodeaux eventually gives up the hold.

Thibodeaux seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chevrolet does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thibodeaux shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chevrolet sprawls well. Chevrolet wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thibodeaux gets slowly back to his feet.

Thibodeaux tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chevrolet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thibodeaux somewhat.

Thibodeaux shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thibodeaux showed some decent athleticism there.
Chevrolet tries to roll over but Thibodeaux keeps him under control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Sauvage Thibodeaux.
