The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Dracul feinted with a counter takedown.
Jones misses with a kick to the body

and Dracul counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jones wants to control but Dracul is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dracul is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Dracul lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Jones wants to hold on but Dracul pushes him away.
Jones is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Dracul tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Dracul throwing strikes but Jones bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
Dracul has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jones has passed into side control.
Dracul tries to bench press Jones off him but Jones keeps the position.
Dracul throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Dracul is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.

Dracul half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Dracul attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away.

Jones tries to land a front kick but Dracul steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Dracul drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jones throws a hook to the side of Dracul's head but Dracul sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dracul moves out of range of the body kick.
Dracul feinted with a counter takedown.
Jones throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dracul's head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jeremy Jones will probably get the nod.
That's time! Dracul's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jones cracks Dracul with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jones drops Dracul with a big left hand! Dracul is injured, injured bad! Jones jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
