Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuuji Hoshino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tobias Naumann!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ben Watson and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naumann throws a right and a left that Hoshino avoids nicely.
Naumann gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hoshino counters with a thumping low kick.
Hoshino is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hoshino.
Naumann is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Naumann darts in trying to clinch
and Hoshino counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hoshino swinging wildly here.
Naumann looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hoshino with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Naumann shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hoshino counters with a solid body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoshino lands with a nice body kick.
Hoshino slaps away a takedown attempt from Naumann, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Yuuji Hoshino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tobias Naumann.
Nice straight punches there by Hoshino. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hoshino.
Naumann thows a leg kick but Hoshino checks it
and Hoshino counters with a straight right hand.
Hoshino looks to land a body kick but Naumann moved away.
Naumann fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hoshino throws a counter high kick but Naumann was just alert enough to avoid it.
Naumann darts in looking for a takedown but Hoshino gets double underhooks and turns Naumann into the cage.
Hoshino misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hoshino connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hoshino misses with a body kick.
Hoshino avoids the head kick by Naumann.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoshino blocks the body kick.
Hoshino throws out a powerful jab.
Naumann shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hoshino as he jumps to the side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab from Naumann misses.
Naumann tries to clinch but Hoshino is having none of it.
Naumann shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoshino as he avoids it easily.
Hoshino swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Naumann tries for a takedown but Hoshino circles away easily
and Hoshino counters with a nice leg kick.
Naumann takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hoshino scores with a nice strike.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hoshino.
Hoshino definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Naumann looks winded!
Naumann throws a combination that misses
and Hoshino makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Naumann really felt that one!
Hoshino turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hoshino keeps the fight on the outside.
It appears Hoshino was looking to counter with a kick there.
Naumann doesn't manage to clinch there - Hoshino circles away.
Naumann sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Naumann is rocked!

It looks like Tobias Naumann has been cut.
Naumann takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Naumann is still on wobbly legs! Can Hoshino finish him?
Hoshino staying out of range there.

Naumann tries for a takedown but Hoshino circles away easily
and Hoshino counters with a crisp right that sends Naumann to the canvas! Hoshino follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Yuuji Hoshino thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
