Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michail Argyros (ranked 1524 p4p, 2405 weight class) and Kunt Andreas (ranked 231 p4p, 339 weight class). Andreas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gikk i Bakken. Kunt Andreas has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Michail Argyros's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michail Argyros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kunt Andreas!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andreas throws a hook to the side of Argyros's head but Argyros sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Argyros scores with the left hand. Andreas knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Kunt Andreas has been cut.
Andreas misses with an uppercut. Argyros saw that one coming.
Argyros has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Andreas finds it's way round the side to connect with Argyros's head.
Andreas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Argyros.
Andreas swings for the body but Argyros moves out of range.
Argyros moves away from the strike by Andreas.
Andreas throws out a loose jab but Argyros uses good head movement to avoid it.
Andreas with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Argyros to score with a decent uppercut.

Andreas sends Argyros crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Andreas is motioning to the referee to let Argyros up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Argyros crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Andreas - the referee stops the clock and Argyros gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Andreas. Argyros manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Andreas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Argyros.
Andreas misses with a leg kick
and Argyros connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Argyros with a body punch. A glancing blow.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Andreas drops Argyros with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Argyros looks back up at him and smiles so Andreas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Argyros is rocked!
Andreas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Argyros.
Kunt Andreas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andreas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Argyros was well out of range. Poor timing from Andreas.
Andreas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Andreas gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Andreas pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Andreas closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Argyros! Andreas dives in looking to finish! Argyros is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
