Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Broderick (ranked 2444 p4p, 3489 weight class) and Fiore Azul (ranked 329 p4p, 460 weight class). Broderick comes to the cage accompanied by Mind by Savanah. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hunter Broderick ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fiore Azul! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Broderick slips under a jab from Azul. Broderick throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Broderick looks to land a right hand but Azul moved out of range. Broderick swings widly with a right hand
and Azul counters with a slapping leg kick. Broderick tries to move into range but Azul moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Hunter Broderick has been cut. Broderick throws a hook but Azul avoids it easily. Azul misses with a head kick.
Broderick lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Azul slips a jab from Broderick . Azul appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Broderick scoring well with a low kick there.
Broderick slips a jab from Azul. Broderick throws a leg kick and Azul counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Broderick misses with a right hand and Broderick takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Azul thumps Broderick with a low kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Azul. Broderick does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Broderick misses. Broderick takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Broderick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Azul gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Broderick . Azul catches Broderick napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Broderick to the canvas!
Broderick is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Azul throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Broderick works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Oh Broderick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Azul throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Azul throwing strikes from guard but Broderick blocks nicely. Broderick seems to have got his legs back now. Broderick can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Azul controls the pace. Azul told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Broderick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Broderick wants to sweep here but Azul controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Broderick manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Azul manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Azul managing to control the position. Broderick looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Azul keeping moving, preventing Broderick from controlling successfully. Broderick controlling from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Azul controls Broderick momentarily but Broderick frees himself. Broderick won't allow Azul to sweep him here. Broderick is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Broderick wants to pass the guard but Azul is keeping the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Azul ducks under a wild hook from Broderick . Azul finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Azul takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Broderick throws a shot to the body.
Broderick connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Broderick lands a big head kick that sends Azul tumbling to the mat! Broderick takes a step backwards and waves Azul back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Azul is rocked!
It looks like Fiore Azul has been cut. Broderick feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Azul sprawling to the canvas! Azul rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Broderick finish him?!
Azul is still on wobbly legs! Can Broderick finish him? Broderick drops Azul with a naaaaasty hook - Azul is in real trouble here! Broderick dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hunter Broderick ! An out of breath Hunter Broderick thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
