The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Boma.
Shashi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Shashi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boma moves away.
Boma throws a big counter combination but Shashi scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Boma thows a body kick. Shashi tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Shashi walks into a straight right hand from Boma.
Boma lands an overhand right.
Boma doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Boma lands with a nice body punch.
Boma stuffs the takedown.

Boma closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shashi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Shashi is trying to push Boma away but Boma has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Boma lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Shashi is trying to pull guard but Boma has him pressed against the cage.
Boma misses with a body punch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Boma.
Boma lands a hook that snaps the head of Shashi backwards.
Shashi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boma gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Norman Boma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cajetan Shashi.
Shashi looks winded!

Boma working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Boma gets underhooks to prevent Shashi's takedown attempt.
Boma digs a right hand underneath Shashi's ribcage. Shashi let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Boma cracks Shashi with a nice body shot.
Boma lands a hook that snaps the head of Shashi backwards.

Shashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Boma finish him?
Boma lands a right hand that snaps the head of Shashi backwards.
Boma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boma lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Shashi to his knees! Boma keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Norman Boma!
