Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adams Menday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sven Eriksson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson looks to throw the jab but Menday is out of range.
Menday connects with a body shot.
Menday swings away with a body shot that misses
and Menday takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Menday closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Menday lands in his opponent's guard.
Menday throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Menday in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Menday lands a couple of elbows.
Eriksson has momentary wrist control but Menday slips an elbow through the middle.

Menday throws an elbow that misses. Eriksson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Menday's guard. Nice move by Eriksson!
Eriksson tries to stand but Menday is controlling from the bottom.
Menday escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eriksson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Menday is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Eriksson defends well.
Eriksson won't allow Menday to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Menday seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Menday seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Menday working for a triangle but Eriksson defends it easily.
Menday is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Menday wants to sweep here but Eriksson controlling him for the moment.
Menday has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Eriksson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Menday is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Menday has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Menday looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Menday has his foot on Eriksson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eriksson works his way back into a safe position though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Menday working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eriksson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eriksson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Menday controls Eriksson momentarily but Eriksson frees himself.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Adams Menday dominated that round.
That's time! Menday's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Eriksson looks to score with a jab to the body but Menday is just out of range.
Menday is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Eriksson can do to turn this around?
Menday gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Eriksson counters with a series of strikes. Menday will be more careful next time no doubt.
Eriksson lands a front kick.
Menday darts in looking for a takedown but Eriksson gets double underhooks and turns Menday into the cage.
It seemed like Eriksson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Menday jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Eriksson walks away with a smile on his face. Menday gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adams Menday. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Adams Menday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eriksson cracks Menday with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Menday looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Eriksson finish him?
Menday is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Menday fails with the takedown
and Eriksson counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
