Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosme shoots in for a takedown but Ryhein shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ryhein throws a head kick but Cosme moves out of range.
Cosme appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Ryhein does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cosme takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A head kick misses from Ryhein.
Cosme looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ryhein is fending him off so far but Cosme persists. Nope, Ryhein circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cosme takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Edvaldo Cosme has been cut.
Ryhein throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cosme on the side of the head.
Ryhein displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cosme.
Ryhein flicks out a counter leg kick but Cosme steps away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edvaldo Cosme. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A slapping leg kick lands for Ryhein.
Ryhein swings for the body but Cosme moves out of range.
Cosme half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Ryhein displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cosme.
Ryhein let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Ryhein uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cosme has time to react.

Cosme shoots in but Ryhein avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ryhein is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cosme with a body shot.

Ryhein throws a head kick but Cosme moves out of range.

Cosme darts in looking for a takedown but Ryhein gets double underhooks and turns Cosme into the cage.
Ryhein raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Ryhein effectively controlling the action here.
Cosme is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ryhein gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Come on Ryhein - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Ryhein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cosme gets tackled into the cage by Ryhein. Ryhein maintains the clinch.
Ryhein lands with a short shot to the head.

Ryhein's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ryhein stuffs the takedown.
Ryhein has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Ryhein jabs at Cosme's body.
Ryhein throws a leg kick

and Cosme counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cosme is trying to control the action in half guard but Ryhein is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ryhein wants to get back to full guard.

Cosme is trying to work for a kimura but Ryhein is defending well.
Ryhein is controlling Cosme's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Ryhein has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cosme is working away from the top position though.
Cosme seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ryhein does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ryhein is looking to improve his position.
Ryhein is controlling Cosme's trapped leg to prevent Cosme from advancing to side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Cosme takes one to the side of the head.
Ryhein has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cosme is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ryhein keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Cosme shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ryhein sprawls well. Ryhein wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cosme gets slowly back to his feet.

Ryhein will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ryhein scores with a jab. Cosme acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Ryhein dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cosme. That did some damage!
Ryhein connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cosme. Cosme circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Cosme tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ryhein swivels and escapes.

Cosme changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryhein tries to avoid it but Cosme manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryhein to the ground. Ryhein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cosme tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ryhein sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cosme somewhat.
Cosme backing away here, and Ryhein unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Ryhein scores with the left hand. Cosme knows he should have avoided that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ryhein. Cosme does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ryhein looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Donk. Ryhein catches Cosme right on the button with a cross.
Cosme doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ryhein counters with a crisp right that sends Cosme to the canvas! Ryhein follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
