Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryoto Takahashi (ranked 25 p4p, 231 weight class) and Biabas Kitjakarn (ranked 4 p4p, 28 weight class). Takahashi comes to the cage accompanied by SMOKING & THINKING. Kitjakarn has chosen Dancing Drums as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Biabas Kitjakarn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi doesn't manage to clinch there - Kitjakarn circles away.
Takahashi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A nice leg kick from Kitjakarn, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kitjakarn misses with a body shot
and Takahashi counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Biabas Kitjakarn has been cut.
Takahashi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kitjakarn tries a head kick but it misses.
Kitjakarn misses with a jab to the body
and Takahashi counters with a body kick.
Kitjakarn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Takahashi counters with a straight right hand.

Kitjakarn tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Takahashi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Takahashi throws a big shot that misses.
Kitjakarn connects with a body shot that sends Takahashi's belly button to the back.
Kitjakarn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Takahashi throws out the jab.
Kitjakarn doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kitjakarn ducks under a wild hook from Takahashi.
Kitjakarn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kitjakarn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takahashi moves away.
Kitjakarn is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Takahashi rather than just go for the knockout.

Takahashi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kitjakarn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Takahashi wants to clinch but Kitjakarn slips to the side
and Takahashi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Takahashi throws a punch but it's blocked by Kitjakarn.
Kitjakarn scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kitjakarn doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kitjakarn goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Takahashi jumps into guard, dragging Kitjakarn to the mat.

Kitjakarn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kitjakarn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Takahashi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kitjakarn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kitjakarn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kitjakarn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Takahashi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kitjakarn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kitjakarn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Takahashi pushes a forearm under Kitjakarn's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kitjakarn is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
