Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Pellegrini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doko Dokov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dokov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pellegrini - the referee stops the clock and Dokov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pellegrini. Dokov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dokov tries to clinch there but Pellegrini circles away.
Pellegrini pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dokov is out of range and Pellegrini settles back down.
Dokov misses with a takedown
and Dokov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pellegrini fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Doko Dokov has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That has opened up Doko Dokov's cut even more.
A head kick by Pellegrini - that's a beauty! Dokov is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Pellegrini can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
