Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Hall! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nightey Knights! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knights moves into the clinch successfully.
Hall trying to land knees to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Hall has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Knights lands a nice uppercut. Hall is looking to control Knights's arms but Knights gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hall has his back to the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hall. Hall blocking some punches.
Knights misses with a hook from the clinch. Knights avoids the elbow strike from Hall, against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Hall. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Hall fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hall stalling the fight.
Knights misses with a short punch on the inside. Hall is trying to pull guard but Knights turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Hall leaning against his opponent.
Hall jumps into guard, dragging Knights to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Knights defends well. Knights looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Knights got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knights has managed to get both his arms back between Hall's legs - danger averted.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Knights is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hall has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Knights doesn't defend quickly enough and Hall has managed to lock this one up! Can Knights escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hall on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Richard Hall! Richard Hall retains his featherweight title! After the fight, Richard Hall was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
