A fine choice. Diggs has chosen DICK TWIST as his entrance music. Kane Thoupos could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Willie Diggs's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kane Thoupos!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Willie Diggs!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggs moves out of range of the leg kick from Thoupos.
A nice side step and Diggs releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Thoupos throws a hook to the side of Diggs's head but Diggs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Diggs let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Diggs throws an overhand right that lands on Thoupos's shoulder, as Thoupos tries to avoid the shot.
Thoupos looks to land a left hand but Diggs moved out of range nicely.
Despite the aggression on Diggs's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Thoupos misses with a hook
enabling Diggs to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thoupos tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Thoupos has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thoupos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Diggs's efforts to push away.

Diggs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A left lands for Thoupos.
Diggs takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Thoupos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A swing and a miss from Thoupos.
Diggs doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Thoupos digs a good hook to Diggs's body.
Thoupos gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kane Thoupos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thoupos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diggs throws out the jab.
Diggs has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Thoupos swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Diggs counter with a right hand.
Thoupos connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thoupos tries to close the distance and clinch but Diggs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Diggs was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Thoupos tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Diggs counters with a nice right hand that sends Thoupos toppling to the canvas! Thoupos scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Diggs finish him?!

Thoupos is rocked!

It looks like Kane Thoupos has been cut.
Diggs throws a nice outside leg kick.
Thoupos tries to clinch but Diggs moves away
and Diggs counters with a left to the body.

Diggs blocks a jab.
Thoupos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diggs swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thoupos looks to land a right hand but Diggs moved out of range.
Diggs let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Diggs throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thoupos on the side of the head.
Oh Thoupos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thoupos misses with a hook
and Diggs counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Thoupos falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

Willie Diggs was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Kane Thoupos was interviewed post fight and said 'What really happened on that Thursday in August High School that led to Chris Woods death? Pftctctxtysfsrhhh the fuck is that! Fly in my mouth, I can’t see… gotta get out of this country motherfucker'.
