Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rade Franjic (ranked 462 p4p, 869 weight class) and Shane Lancaster (ranked 70 p4p, 122 weight class). Lancaster comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slipknot - I Am Hated kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Lancaster!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lancaster misses with a body shot.
Franjic was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lancaster fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Franjic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Franjic. Lancaster does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lancaster drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Franjic defends it well.
Lancaster takes a jab right on the kisser.
Franjic lands a big uppercut and Lancaster crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lancaster looks OK. Franjic waves Lancaster back to his feet!
It looks like Shane Lancaster has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lancaster throws a lazy uppercut
and Franjic counters with a left to the body.
Franjic throws the left hand but Lancaster avoids the punch easily.
Lancaster looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Franjic!
Franjic wants to control but Lancaster postures up.
Lancaster throws a strike aimed at the side of Franjic's head but Franjic avoids it well.

Franjic is trying to control Lancaster's posture but Lancaster avoids it.
Lancaster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Franjic keeps working.
Franjic on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Franjic tries to get out of the position.
Franjic is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Lancaster looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Franjic is avoiding damage well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lancaster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Franjic keeps working.
Franjic parries the strikes from Lancaster easily there. Lancaster is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Franjic to escape.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Franjic takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Lancaster looks up at the clock and then as Franjic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lancaster smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Franjic gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Lancaster is landing with some decent strikes but Franjic is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Poor strikes thrown by Lancaster there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Franjic tries to hold on but Lancaster postures up.

Franjic is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Lancaster postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Franjic out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Lancaster goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
