Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Williams (ranked 2476 p4p, 3452 weight class) and Norris Chow (ranked 261 p4p, 337 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spencer Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Norris Chow!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chow takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chow throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily.
Chow stalks Williams and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Williams's face. Williams staggers backwards, shaken.
Chow throws a lazy head kick

and Williams counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Chow tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Still in half guard, Williams seems content to control.
Chow misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Chow is looking to control Williams's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chow avoid being mounted?

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Chow tries to get to full guard but Williams has control of the leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Williams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chow has time to react.
Williams lands a jab to the nose.
Chow lands a front kick.
Chow misses with the body kick
and Williams counters with an inside leg kick.
Chow thuds a left hand into Williams's body.
Chow misses with a head kick.
It looked like Williams was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Chow.

Chow pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Chow told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Williams throws a combination. Chow tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Williams connects with a right hand. Chow shakes it off.
An inside leg kick lands from Chow.
Chow misses with a low kick.

Chow is rocked!
Williams cracks a nice hook into Chow's ribs.
