Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Maluga (ranked 3 p4p, 6 weight class) and Leif Leifsson (ranked 1 p4p, 2 weight class). Maluga kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is JUNGLE. And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leif Leifsson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leifsson looks to land a right hand but Maluga moved out of range.
A quick step to the side and Maluga tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leifsson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Leifsson backs away, Maluga returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Maluga throws a head kick that misses.
Leifsson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Maluga cracks Leifsson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Leif Leifsson has been cut.
Maluga has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Convicted Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Maluga slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Maluga feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leifsson sprawling to the canvas! Leifsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maluga finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maluga throws a solid leg kick but Leifsson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Maluga.

Maluga throws a poor cross that misses

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maluga scores with a jab. Leifsson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A punch lands to the side of Maluga 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Kilo Maluga's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Maluga is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Leifsson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Maluga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Maluga throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Maluga takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Leifsson wants to clinch up but Maluga keeps it at a distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Kilo Maluga will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Kilo Maluga decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
Leif Leifsson was interviewed post fight and said 'DEFEAT WAS INEVITABLE, ONE WHO CAN’T IMPROVE FROM DEFEAT IS ONE WHO IS NOT WORTHY. THE WARLORD WILL BE BACK!'.
