Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vernon Creed (ranked 1719 p4p, 1736 weight class) and Choctaw Bloode (ranked 268 p4p, 270 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vernon Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Choctaw Bloode!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed connects with a jab.
Creed connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Creed looks to land a right hand but Bloode moved out of range.
Bloode misses the jab.
Bloode swings for the body but Creed moves out of range.
Bloode needs to keep his hands up - Creed had a free shot at his head there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bloode rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Creed makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Creed checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Creed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bloode throws a leg kick that is checked
and Creed counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bloode! Creed lets Bloode back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Creed uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bloode.
Creed moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The fighters circling - Bloode throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bloode just misses with a punch to the body.
Creed throws a big counter combination but Bloode scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Bloode throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Creed sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A quick step to the side and Creed tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bloode missing with a left hand there. Creed was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bloode lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Creed has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Creed and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bloode connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Creed counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Creed fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bloode just misses with a punch to the body.
A slow jab from Creed misses its intended target.

Creed throws the left hand but Bloode avoids the punch easily.
Bloode fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Creed.
Choctaw Bloode seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bloode gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Creed misses with a leg kick.
Creed throws a hook to the side of Bloode's head but Bloode sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A little jabbing left from Bloode on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Creed throws a poor cross that misses
and Bloode counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Creed takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It looked like Creed wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bloode does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Creed swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bloode fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Creed throws a solid leg kick but Bloode takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Creed.
Creed scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Creed feints and then cracks Bloode's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bloode down.

Creed takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bloode ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Creed moves away.
Bloode staying out of range there.
Bloode throws a sloppy body shot
and Creed counters with a straight right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

In his post fight interview, Vernon Creed started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
